Casino Roulette

Roulette is a casino game with a long past, and a very loyal following. Roulette has some of the highest odds of any casino game, with normal bets being paid out at 35:1. The house edge for roulette is also some of the lowest in the casino, making this game attractive to a huge deal of players.

There are two versions of Roulette, and they only have one very small difference. European Roulette has 36 numbers and one 0, and American Roulette has 36 numbers also, but has a 0 and a 00. This extra 00 gives the game another number, and because of this it almost doubles the house edge, so overall you can end up loosing twice as much. That is the main reason why you should always try to play European Roulette when you have the choice.

Roulette Rules

Playing roulette is easy.   You have the choice to bet on the numbers on the board or on the side bets on the outside of the numbers.

When you bet on the numbers, you can bet in a lot of different ways. You can get on one number (straight up). You can bet on two numbers by placing your chip on the line between the numbers. You can bet on four numbers by placing the best on the corner of the lines between the four numbers. You can bet on three numbers by placing your chip on the outside line of the row of three numbers. You can also finally bet on six numbers by placing your chip on the center line of two rose of three numbers on the outside of the board.

When you bet on the outside areas there are also different ways that you can get. You can bet if the number will be Red of black. You can bet of the number will be Odd or Even, You can bet if the number will be High (19-36) or Low (1-18). You can bet on dozens (1-12, 13-24, 25-36) or you can bet on rows of twelve numbers.

Each of these bets has different payout odds, but the odds are the fairest that you'll find in any casino game.
