Pai Gow Rules

When you play Pai Gow online, the game is relatively simple. The game play can take a short time to fully understand, but is well worth it.

The game starts with seven cards dealt to the player and to the dealer. These cards are used to make up two separate hands. The hands are a five-card hand and a two card hand. The rules of the game state that the high hand must always be worth more then the low hand, so if you had a hand of seven cards that contained a pair of 4's and a pair of 5's, the pair of 4's would be put in the low hand, while the pair of 5's would be in the high hand. What you have to be careful of is not accidentally putting a high hand in the low hand area. This is a rule that will see you loosing automatically.

The object of the game is to have both of the players hands higher then both of the corresponding dealers hands. If the player wins one hand, but looses the second hand, the game is a push and the players bet is returned to them. If both of the players hands beat the dealers hands, the player wins.

That is all there is to Pai Gow. The only difficult thing about the game is evaluating which hand should be played where.   After a bit of practice you'll soon see that you're figuring this out quicker and a lot better then when you started.
