Casino Craps

Craps is a game that people love to play. Some people are drawn to the game by the lights, the noise, the excitement. Others are drawn to the game for the thrills of throwing the dice down the table to roll their point.

Whatever the reason, Craps has become one of the biggest and best games in the casino, and still not a lot of people know how to play craps.

Craps Rules

Craps starts with a new player throwing the dice to set their point. A point can be a number of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. The player will keep on rolling until they roll one of these numbers. At this point other players can bet on the numbers that the player will roll.

When the player has rolled their point number, then the fun of the game begins. The object of craps is to roll the same number again before rolling a 7. if the player rolls a 7 then the game is over and that player looses.

Because of all of the different combinations that can make up the different values of the roll, the numbers that you can bet on pay out at different odds. These are always noted on the table os be sure of where you're betting and what you can expect in return.

It does take a bit of time to master all of the betting possibilities in Craps, but in it's simplest form, you are betting that the player will or will not make their point before rolling a 7. You can bet on the Pass Line (that the player will make their point) or on the Don't Pass Line (that the player will not make their point). As well as this you can bet on each individual number at any time .

As you can imagine, mastering craps does take some time, but the effort is well worth it when you finally crack the system and start to love this great game.
